More famed for his footballing talent, Sagey has played for 376 different football clubs throughout the Midlands and Southwest but at the age of 28, he finally realised that his chances of turning Pro were somewhat slim. Football's loss was HOBs gain however as this smooth talking purveyor of franking machines has a keen eye for cricket. This was cultivated at an early age from his front room which was positioned at deep, deep square leg, over the boundary at Golden Hill - the scene of a terrifying incident when a lusty blow saw a cricket ball shatter his front room window, the ball missing young Sage's pin head by inches. His early forays into cricket saw something of an attitude more fitting for the football field with Kris on one occasion offering to "wrap the F***ing bat, round your F***ing head" after a short pitched delivery missed his raisin by inches.
