Sam has previously enjoyed such passions as theatre, being a lefty and having lots of girls as 'friends' but thankfully he's now added the more manly pursuit of cricket to that list and when invited along to pre-season nets in 2007 he wasted no time at all in stabbing his brother in the back and dislodging him from the starting XI. Keen as mustard, Sam quickly invested in a bat which was duly named 'The Lambinator', putting his blade to good use in racking up over 50 runs in his debut season. Also valued for his fantastic photography skills, the young Lamb has quickly settled into the team and with another good pre-season net he should be looking to double his run tally in 2008.

Interesting fact: - When he was 12 he kidnapped his sister's teddy bear and left a ransom note demanding a packet of sweets. Surely a sign of a future mentalist
