As one of HOB's
most naturally gifted batsmen Jo finally delivered what we all knew
he was capable of in 2006, claiming the Player, Batsman and Fielder
of the season awards. A decent 2007 saw the skipper still in the runs
and the wickets but he'll be looking to get back to his high standards
set in 2006 for next season. Opposition batsmen be afraid, be very
afraid of his quick and bouncy deliveries, Jo doesn't like anyone
when he's bowling, not even his mum.

leg specialist, great knowledge of the game

Deceptively slow between the wickets for one with such massive, massive
legs
Interesting fact:
- During a golfing lesson, a fellow HOB member overheard their instructor
telling Jo that he had a rather 'long arm' action
