This self-taught
wicket keeper traded picking the ball out of the net for standing
behind the stumps several years ago now and has since improved his
technique tenfold, letting few past his gloves - unless Tom's bowling.
After another excellent season for Fillingham behind the timbers,
he finally backed it up with some solid match winning batting displays
in 2007. Vocal (or some may say mouthy) in the field and a vibrant
motivator, Ashley's crow-like squawk can be heard from miles around.
